Hello everyone. I played hooky yesterday and went to my central Florida Seminole War fort. It was mostly occupied by the 3rd artillery. My best find was this pattern 1821 number 3 from a 3rd artillery officers dress hat. Also found a bunch of not pictured musket balls. Found a couple lead game pieces, a brass buckle and an unidentified lead piece with a hole drilled from the top to the bottom. Thanks for looking and happy hunting to everyone!!

Nice recoveries. The first thing that pops into my head for the piece with the hole through it is a plumb bob. Likely not what it is but just a guess.

Did the Fort have a name? I wrote a book on Florida Forts, Forts, Camps is the title.
