I just can't even imagine all that rain. My newspaper here near Philadelphia had an article about the snakes and alligators on the move because of the storm. Scares me.

so far a steady lite/med rain, center a 100 miles or so away from me on east side. Hope the east side of it isn't bad. LIke others said at least the soil is getting back some needed moisture

I believe if you leave bath water in the tub long enough down here there would be an alligator in it eventually. They do move a good bit when water conditions suit them. I would expect them to be in places that they weren't before the storm.

25" in my neighbors rain gauge, on the barrier island north of Sebastian inlet, not much beach erosion though. bring your mosquito spray!!!!!!
