Is it just me or has the last 2 weeks been hell for some detecting. Today I wouldn't dare get in that tide for the fear of them never finding me again.The surfers sure are getting there money worth,As Iam stuck on dry sand answering a million questions about my findings which include endless amount of pull tabs and some penny's. Well that's my rant I have tommorow off so low tide comes around I will try it again,Good luck to everyone.

Guess it depends on what coast you live on. Gulf coast has been flat for the past week, but that has not helped the slow start we have had with depositors since spring break started. High surf, cool weather, stingrays, and red tide has not helped.....but we got all summer to make up for it. Hang in there , good luck. SS

These N or NE winds might be a pain for you....... but on your side of the island when it calms down it might just throw you a bone.

Yeah over here on the gulf coast off shore winds, small waves == sanded in.

I gave myself 4 hours the other morning at extreme low tide to find a recent drop in the wet. Not even a penny!
