Well Old Dog got me started so if this bores you, blame him! :laughing7:

I walked around my yard with my trusty Canon S3 and took pictures of what was blooming around the yard.

First you have to understand that I prefer contriolled chaos. I have grassy areas and then there are areas where there are wild plants and plants that I have planted over the years. Unfortunately I don't remember the "names" of some of them so if you wish to tell me I won't be offended. :toothy4:

This first ic is an example of what I call controlled chaos; a fountain surrounded by Peppermint, a hibiscus tree, and something with berries in the fall:

Here's a big shrub I have along one side of the house (10 feet or more tall):

An Iris in the middle of Monkey Grass around the pool:

A Yucca Plant ready to bloom in the Monkey Grass around the pool:

Impatiens along the steps to the pool:

And 3 different rose bushes around the house:

And here's some more:

Some Honeysuckle blooms:

Silver Dollars that aren't "silver" yet:

A few of my apples (That I rarely get to eat cause the squirrels decimate 'em):

And the "Coupe D'Grace", the exalted Southern icon, the Magnolia Bloom (put my out on the front porch swing in the evening and pass me a Mint Juliep:

Actually RR, they would be except that "big shrub" is blooming and is overpowering; and not too good for the sinusis(SP?) either. :-\
