I knew today would not be as good as yesterday but I sure gave it the "Old School" try !!

While todays Nickel count was higher than yesterday the dime count was down and quarter count was even. Ring count was zero sadly but I did get a large Butter-fly Bling at least!! Think it is my biggest dug dangly bling to date! I have no idea why they couldn't see that on the ground when it dropped but it was in the ground about two inches deep. In this hobby your doing good anytime you have at least one interesting item =)

Hope you enjoyed the butterfly bling and happy hunts to you all =)

she's a beaut! can't find the good stuff every time...but we try don't we?

As bling goes that is a beauty! The exciting part of our hobby is that there is always the potential for an amazing find. Rare yes, but it's always there.

Nice dig and thank you for sharing those pictures

Perhaps when it was dropped it was a small blingy caterpillar, and during its time underground it went though metamorphosis and became the blingyfly that it is today? Seems like the most logical explanation to me.

Hi beez , yeah all the stones are still attached and it did not get gouged by my screwdriver somehow ! Yeah was trying hard for another rare find , but have to remember rare equals infrequent =D

Hi Hendo, good story there =D Here is my guess , some kid was making snow angels and it fell off into the snow and got buried !

Nice bling butterfly! Congrats!

Psssst....looks like it's taking off with your nickels!

Cool butterfly ! Something different is always great !
