Hello again...I found this in the lining of an antique West Point coat. The coat itself was early 1900's but the intials in the coat did not match the initials on the locket (which was empty but looks like it held a picture) and I'm not sure how many owners the coat actually had so I have no idea on date or origin of this item. Everyone I have shown this to doesn't seem to have any idea except that it's perhaps related to some Masonic group. I'm hoping someone might be able to give me some specifics regarding this item...Thanks!

Knights of Pythias...I believe you're correct!!! ;D Thanks! After some quick googling on that term I found quite a few fobs similar to mine and most have a skull and cross bones...after seeing this I re-examined the "blob" in the middle and it looks as if it could have been a skull and cross bones before becoming worn! Now if only I could find one with swords and a date ;)

Hmm I have one of the swords. Straight double edge blade, acid engraved.

The chain and pendant look like they are from the F.O.E. Fraternal Order of the Elks. They are fairly popular and have been for several decades in Colorado.
