I posted a thumb scraper with a burr a few days ago and had a response about a folsum spur, and a debate! The spur being made on purpose is new to me. Thanks Chase2! I went and looked through all my foloms! Ha-ha I only have one chip in a lifetime of hunting so it didn't take long. Its an honor to influence a culture so old. Was this spur made on purpose? I do not know. The tip is extremely sharp and strong made this way. This is very finley made, they would know more about how a point breaks. I would love to see more and would love any input. I've thought many times how hard it would be to take a mastadon down. Your group would sure have a party that night! This was found with permission on private property in south central Colorado, threre was no indication of anything else. On the bottom right front edge it has been smoothed from use telling me it was used as a scraper and a small knife. I think it's sharper than obsidion
