Fooled by a Canadian

So I'm trying out crh'ing as a new little hobby/ time killer I've only gone through $250 of halves and dimes and though I got my first silver and got excited only to open the roll of dimes and it was Canadian just waiting on my $1000 in halves on Friday for hopefully my first real silver find!

But all is not lost if the Canadian is a 1968 or earlier.

after you do a few thousand you can see the difference just edge hunting through the plastic....of course I still open them just to be 100% sure but I am usually correct with my hunches now :-)

But all is not lost if the Canadian is a 1968 or earlier.

Some of the 1968's are 50% silver. Some are not. I tossed 3 '68 duds yesterday, I usually find about 50 canadians per $1000 US dimes searched.

Ya, they get me every time when I am looking at the coins in the automatic dispensers!
