I'd have to agree with chug about it being an employee badge. Could be wrong though

Sold one similar to that on Fee-bay a few years ago, mine was from Ford Rouge plant here in Detroit, Mich. Got 75 buckaroos for it (without) the pin on back. Guy told me he could solder new pin on back and resell for 200.00 but since he is a collector of these badges, he would hang onto this one........NGE
