A little off the topic but it bugs me when I read these PSA's by the green machine attempting to garner support, there all the same, empassioned and embellished BS. When every "factual" statement is qualified with "can" or "could" my, BS meter goes off, it tells me the author wants me the reader to think that what the author is saying is truth or gospel but in reality is usually mere conjecture.
For example this author qualifies every negative accusatory statement towards dredging with "can", tells me all I need to know about him and his knowledge of the subject matter. Knowing what I do confirms it. Thanks MEG

Oh ,and at min.10.20 ..now we know how a 8 inch dredge can move more material than mother nature in a year..not only the flawed data Alpers took by using the manufacturers specs that are based by sucking only sand,he also compared it with a dry year with no floods occuring.Ouf course the drout in califorrnia comes in handy for them ,the longer the drout occurs,the more they could strech this sentence.But it remains a flawed approach.One flood destroys the whole statistic.
