Cru'Dad found this today.

Not much left to see;
Crown Over Shield
'2' over a straight line of text in the middle

I'm guessing late 18th C Dutch something?

Sorry wrong forum, I've asked for it to be moved. Force of habit posting in Todays!

If i had found it i would throw it in the 1800s Prussian coin jar. :tongue3:

The crown looks a bit weird and with no 2 visible (for me) on the coin you can check it out yourself with the coin in hand. Prussian 2 Pfenning have a very characteristic 2. Preußen 2 Pfennige 1851 Preußen - Münzen - Catawiki

Not quite, the '2' is similar but it has a boarder around it, hard to see but like a wreath. I don't think it has an eagle in the shield, maybe a simple cross.

The crown and shield is pretty similar to that on some Swedish coins. I think there is more of an arch at the bottom of the crown than the Prussian examples? That is, the crown on yours is tipped back so you can see the rear rim of the bottom of the crown.
