There larger pieces were on the beach this morning in a specific area on the Treasure Coast. I got a three hour window (a reprieve really) before TS Issac's rain bands came roaring in with a vengeance and have stayed the rest of the day! I understand the area is mostly from the Paleo Period 1300-1500. One could be a small rib bone. They were fully exposed or already on the ground.
In the last photo of the small leg (?) bone, in the background you will see more Pear Whelk Shells, just waiting to be plucked!
I think I have enough prices of turtle now to rebuild it!
