Hi all , been awhile but I finally have something post worthy. I drove two hours with a buddy of mine to hunt a"hunted out site". I know people who pounded this area 30 years ago and many detectors have been over these woods since then but with newer technology stuff is still coming up.
8 hours of digging turned up about 80 bullets between three of us. I dug a total of 26, mostly confederate . Saving history never gets old and all these bullets were deeep so it was very satisfying.

Darkness ran us out of the woods but I will bring a head lamp next time.
