Nice 55 degree day today, so I headed back to the woods where I found my Colonial Era stirrup. I dug 7 shotgun shells before I found something good. It's a big dandy button with a very intricate design on it. No shank, but that's okay. Found it next to a stream, so it's pretty toasted. But it's always fun to dig anything from the 1700's.

Thanks! I know buttons don't thrill everyone, but where there are 1700's buttons, there may be coins from that era as well. Hope springs eternal, I guess...
