The newbie got us into an 1840s farm house. The only old token/coin we dug today was this old 1812 Half Penny Token. The date is the best part of the entire coin as the rest is pretty gone. I'm guessing this is maybe Canadian or British?? I don't know. I like it because its older than dirt.
I think I like the silver lady thing even better though. I showed a pic of the back of it showing the word sterling. Cool. Wonder what it was for? Looks like a bottom and a top smashed together. Neat stuff.

Really cool token Jim, looks similar to the 1806 King George half penny I dug up in Leslie this year, although your token looks alot better shape than the coin I found.
