Found a 1st for me yesterday.

Took a friend named "Tader" Brown detecting for his first time yesterday to a new spot and was rewarded by finding my first stirrup. I know lots of you probably find them all the time but I was excited. We had a good little hunt. He found a wheat and a little buckle along with the normal junk and I found a few things including a tax token and the top of a tube of Rexall Shaving Cream(which was also a first,LOL). We were hunting an old home site off of what people call The Historic Road to Turkey Town. The land owner's dog gaurded us most of the day as you can see in the picture with Tader. Anyway, Hope everyone's having a good year so far.

Congrats! I found my first and only stirrup last year. I'll have to share a pic. I wasn't sure what it was at first.

Very Nice!, I was excited when I found my stirrup last year. It looks great hanging on the edge of my relic display shelves with all the other things that can hang like iron rings
and horse-bits, ring hooks and the like. I like the buckle.Its a real good day whenever I find a buckle ( not very frequent).looks like a nice rural setting where you were hunting.
