Found a beauty today

Hey y’all, went stompin again today and found some more stuff. I found a beautiful, black blunted piece. I’m wondering if any of y’all are familiar with what type it is.. Also, found a broken blade and few worked pieces!!

That almost looks like obsidian. Is it glass or slick black flint?

Slick black flint.. I’m in western Ky we don’t have obsidian in these parts as far as I know. I just washed it off when I took this picture so it looks a little bit different than it is dry.

Great finds,I love native American artifacts.The first picture I believe is a hafted scraper but looks like it started life as a turkey tail and was repurposed.Awsome congratulations

The black chert comes in many different quality levels the glossy ones being the best like yours. Nice find
