I hunted a new place today (for me) and found two rings, and several modern coins. Three quarters, two dimes, one nickle and 12 pennies.....all clad. Also found a couple of medallions (or pendants). One of these is made of copper and is from the Epscot center at Disney World.....the other is 12K gold plated and is of a religious nature. The GP one says "Mary conceived without sin - Pray for us who have recourse to her."

Here is a picture of the finds:

One of the rings is junk but the other one is a very nice Sterling silver ring with what looks like amethest stone (don't know for sure...might just be glass) but anyway it's my first two ring day ever! Below is a picture of the silver ring......geeesh I wish I had a camera that could take closeups!

The area I found this stuff was around a ball field at an elementary school that I had never detected before. There was some junk there of course but not what I had expected and not nearly as much as in the parks I have been working. I left plenty of territory at the school to hunt and only spent about three hours there today.

You know what...........I guess I don't know if the camera has a setting like that. I'll have to try and find out. If it does and I figure out how to use the setting, I would be very happy. Thanks for the suggestion.

The Epcot center copper looks like an elongated penny.

Nice Finds!
I still find it strange how often similar items are posted.
I dug a silver spoon with the same image and text as your Madonna medallion.
Best Digs to you!
