Found a Digital microscope stand this week.

Well I finally found a nice stand for my digital microscope. It was completely rusted and dirty...got the stand for $10 at a salvage yard. Took it all apart, cleaned it all up and painted what needed paint. Made a brass milled bushing for the holder on the lathe. The stand that came with the microscope was a cheap piece junk, not steady at all. The new stand is geared so vertical movement is just with the turn of the knob on the right side and can be locked into position with a knob in the rear. Now its so much easier to focus. Took some time but here's a few pics.

RR, Just a cheap one I got off ebay for $39. Work pretty good for the money though. If you want I can pm the sellers name but it has no real brand on the box or the microscope.

I was just browseing around looking at USB microscopes, the camera parts are well reviewed, it's the holders/stands
that get complaints.(<$100 models)
you got just what you needed. nice work

Seems like there's a lot of similar ones available in the 25-50 price range, amazon is good for looking at reviews,
all of these type have issues with focusing because of the clip attachment.
I would spend a little more and get one of the aluminum tube type shown here, unless you have Cheeseballs skills
