Went back to my favorite field and found several nice ones. Found some stone artifacts I believe let me know if they are or not. The square piece looks to have some holes started in one side. The round piece is not cupped but it looks to be symetrical. Let me know what you think

Very nice points... Will be watching your post, because I found a round rock like yours just the other day.......

Gonna hit mid 90's here today, so might only hunt a little today!!!!!! :coffee2:

I think the 8th picture is a reused point could have been used for a spokeshave. Would have loved to found the rest of the drill but I am glad I found that much of a tip to it. Seen one pulled out of this field whole it was about the same size as mine. There are alot of shaped stones in this field that look like they are hewn and old. To many to pick up.

Second picture down...the triangular piece...does anyone know what purpose this served? Or is it a geofact? I have 3 that are identical. Under normal circumstances, wouldn't have given them a 2nd look. But all three were in the middle of debris fields. They just didn't seem to belong. I've been curious if they were perhaps used during the flaking process?

Yippie!!!!! I think those are great finds. :hello2:

I can't wait to go out tomorrow after this big rain we had today.

Killer stuff!

Chuck
