It felt like mid winter yesterday with wind chill in the 30s, but just as I was beginning to question my sanity for being out on a day like this I reached down and pryed this guy out of the mud. Not 100% positive but I believe it's a archaic Culpepper bifurcate, called Rice lobbed in most areas. The difference is the width of the blade as Rice lobbed types are more narrow in profile. I've never seen this material before and would be interested to know what it is.
It was a good day for a short hunt, I found two nice stemmed points, a humpback knife/tool, a uniface piece, and some other worked pieces. Good luck on your next hunt.
