I was excited when the Equinox was announced because now their was a cheaper waterproof machine that would work in the local brackish river. I knew their had to be some good spots to hunt along it but I had tried several times to find one without any luck. This time I hit a spot where oyster shell covered the beach and was eroding from the shoreline. Had to have been a lot of activity there. I found two toasted indians, two toasted large coppers(One may be a KG II hibernia), 1853 half dime, 1876 dime and a 1898 Barber dime. Also picked up a bunch of various whatsits, a bunch of brass nails and a fragment of an early buckle. Found most of this stuff below the high tide line without even getting my feet wet. I dont like snakes and its hard to recover targets underwater. Might just stick to hunting the dry at low tide
