I was thinking the same thing but it doesn't look like any little eyes to hang both the eye or the upside down hand.

looks to be a flat area on the top part in the pics. My first thought is a watch fob with the bail broken off. Whatever it is, I don't believe it is complete.

When I look close at the top it does appear to have two broken spots. Most likely a fob or something very close! [emoji16]
