Found a iphone 5 in the water last week, tried to dry it out and power it up, but it is dead. I found out there are several companies on the internet that will buy back phones even if they're broken. All offered about the same amount, but I went with buyback boss because they offered to send me the mailing box and shipping label. Dead iphone 5 value....$125.00 paid via paypal or business check.

I found one the other day as well and sent it to them. It depends on which phone company, GBs, and phone. They gave me like $225 i think for a non working.... or at least that was the offer. ill let you know what kind of check i really get. I have a feeling theres a catch and ill get a phone call saying.... less. we shall see if they are legit.

When you find one of those (or any electronic device for that matter) Put it in a ziplock bag with uncooked dry instant rice. Or for that matter, dessicant packs.

It works a lot of the time to draw the moisture out of the contact areas. If the water has permeated the board it is probably too late, but a lof of the time this works.
