The first thing I would do is cut that grass! :)

Wow, are you planning on gridding? I take it you will be digging all signals!?
No telling what you are going to find; please keep us posted!

Dig everything. This farm was started in 1895 and is about 150 acres. The barn is gone but there is 3 more structures. This family came from Texas in 1890 and there is some old signs from there. The only way to hunt the area is wait till winter when the grass is not so dry....aa

Looks nice. Enjoy.

Marvelous find! Let's hope the lovers don't break-up before winter. I'm afraid I would have a very hard time waiting and would go after that farmyard with a pick, if necessary. :tongue3: Need help?

Sweet Find On the location. Just take your time and cover all of it ......... Congrats   Guzz1

That is an awesome location. Wish I lived closer, I would help you with it. Please keep us posted and be careful. Look out for snakes, etc.

I got a long way with a place like this by takeing a mower, and cleaning up the place for owner.

What a beautiful place! A lot of discoveries lie ahead.

Take care,

Looks promissing, cut the grass so you don't run into any rattle snakes

Here's A Couple Of Hints For You.

This place looks real promising. The first thing you would want to look for is where the out houses were. Back in those days thats where the money was stashed. Not to worry about anything else as it's all decomposed by now and will not cause you any problems or harm.

Also look for old fence posts. Search around them as they also hold another area for stashing money and jewelry. They wouldn't have buried anything next to a fence post as it would weaken it. Check from the post out to about 6'-10' or so. It was easy for a farmer to remember where he buried something by just counting to a specific post.

Good luck and keep us posted.

You can not tell by the photos but the city is growing all around this farm. Up until 12 years ago people lived in this place. :( The sad thing is the 3 houses were still furnished with antiques and someone broke in and took everything. ......aa
