Ok maybe not rare, but we hardly ever find them so they must be kinda rare right! :laughing7:
I took a friend from church detecting for his first time ever. We just did some school yards and a tot lot to dig clad so he could learn the machine I let him borrow. Also so he could learn pinpointing and recovery. The half I found looks like it was dropped in the sand by the swings just a few days ago.
Dug 47 clad and a couple buttons and plenty of junk. Had fun with a friend.

Ya turd. :icon_scratch: Ya had me all excited about seeing a 1877 Indian or a 1914 D wheatie or something of that sort. Ok, I'll forgive ya, this time. :laughing7:

Ive only found like two in the last ten years. Definitely rare!

Nice buttons.

WOW! ;D well those don't pop up every day....missed the 40 percenter by one year....still shiny, sounds like you had fun....good deal!

Nice find on the half! And you got a pile of gas money too! Hope that your friend had a good time too.

Nice half, Mike. :icon_thumright: Some kid probably cried a long time after losing that one. :sad1: :'( :laughing7: Glad you got out with a newbie.

Bet that one rang in loud and clear. Nice finds Mike! :icon_thumleft:

Nice finds! Those clad Kennedy halves are as rare as walkers, have you dug a silver Kennedy?
