Found A Rock! Help, What is it?

I found this rock in a creek whilst panning for gold. Can anyone tell me what it is? I think the center is garnet but I'm no geologist. It's very heavy for the size, thanks!

Shine a bright light thru it. Red/purple you've a garnet. Nice bit :)

Is that quartz in the center of it? could be dark red agate with quartz in the center, a cute keepsake! :)

Looks like Obsidian rounded out by the creek. Like sea glass. You should look for more.
