Found an Odd Shaped Pocket Knife Today. Any Idea How Old?

Found a very odd pocket knife today. Has a curve to it, but the blade doesn't look like a switchblade. It's 4 3/4" long. Any idea as to how old it is and why the odd shape?

Kinda looks like an Imperial. 50's fish knife model ?

Looks similar to those knives, but the ends on mine are kind of squared off. The Imperial knives are rounded at the ends.
