found at a thrift store for 2.99 each

found a 1557 gold plated and a 1560 Scottish ( argent metal ) coin and another Scottish coin can't make out the date, but the one with the letters on it is the 1560, and found it on line at a coin auction with 7 bids top bid is $865.00

Yeah, well I found a silver American Eagle. So there.

But seriously, I am jealous. It is in such incredible shape that I hope it is real (no modern ring aound the edge that would indicate casting? These would have been struck, not casted). I have found poor fakes at thrift stores before, but if it is argent (silver) then it is a Precious Metal find nonetheless.

Which thrift store was it? One of the big ones?
