went out yesterday in search of some old cellar holes. Found a couple but all were suprisingly clean with no trash. found a few things. The scissor handle was found at a cellar hole that dates around 1750. It was a 1/2 mile ride in the woods with the Jeep then another 1/2 mile hike. Not much there and very clean. The harmonica was found at an early 1800s cellar hole. trying to date both pieces. I think the scissors handle is from mid 1700s according to one of my books. Cant pin down a date for the harmonica. Couldnt find one with round corners. Thought at first it was a pocket knife.
