Is what i found called a Tombac button? It doesn't appear to have anything on the front our back. I have been trying my darndest to find a CW relic, but i don't think i have found anything i can say it definitely is.

I cant identify that button for you, but it's got the whole shank on the back which is a big plus and somebody will be able to tell you which one it is. there's plenty left on the front to I.D. it I believe. I'm so jealous !

Not a Tombac. Tombac was a brass alloy with a high percentages of zinc and sometimes arsenic. They usually come out of the ground looking like silver, untarnished. Still a nice find! Nice flat button.
