Checked out Lake Champlain in front of our place again yesterday with the super low water levels. Found a KGIII, buttons, musket balls, and shoe buckle fragments last time I was out.
After getting more of the same, I was about to wrap up when I pulled this button. Turns out to be a British 53rd Regiment button from the Revolutionary War Period!
After doing some research, this regiment had activity nearby....but never would have expected to find it right under my nose!
First time finding anything from the Rev War!!
