ok, here how it goes. i went to my hometown to visit some family andd went to a antique shop to check out some bottles. i saw some little jars that are snuff jars. i was looking them over and asome gentleman came up to me and he started saying how he found some of those jars while pronghorn hunting years ago. i asked if he got his antelope and he said yeah, then he walked away. i got pumped up by the prices of all the bottles and deside's to go in thhe desert for a few mins since its over 100 dry heat. im walking and see this brown glass peeking out of the dirt, im thinking its a brand new beer bottle but the area i was hunting is quite old, and dig everything!!!!!;) well im digging and..........its a snuff container!!!!!!!!! i was shocked, i have never seen one before untill earlier at the antique shop. when i got home it cleaned perfect.(spotless) i know your thinking i propbally bought it but honest to god, i dug it out of the desert ground.talk about awesome!!!!! im sure it is not too old since the color of the glass is perfect and the seams run up all the way to the top. there are no markings at all except for 2 little dots underneith the bottle and maybe looks like a dotted 15 or 16, im not sure they are even numbers, too faint. does anyone have a idea how ild this might be or when did they stop producing these?????
