These were in about 4ft of water, slightly gummed up together with 'goo' - so I assume they were wrapped in something as opposed to just "dropping" out!!

My guess is the goo was some old bubble gum and those fell outta the same hole of some unfortunate swimmer ;)

Ah! yes, that would make sense now !

Odd, but cool find for sure. Wonder why the larger one is cut across the crown of the tooth?

Holy shi* BVI... Get you butt up here and just follow me around while I look for the "Golden Horseshoe".

Another great find BVI... good job buddy!

I see that now (?) would crown go across two teeth perhaps?

multiple crowns across many teeth is called a bridge. Most likely they were put in with some sort of poly adhesive and hell out in the water since the adhesives aren't always that good. I don't have them but my mom had one and it would fall out every now and then so its just bad timing for that swimmer!

That is a fairly odd gold tooth the cut one, never seen such a thing but still a keeper. My daughters cap fell out as well eating hard candy during easter, stuck right to it and out it popped. We dont do hard candy now

Congrats Captain on what I hope is a great find! If the Pirate that lost them comes looking for them in the middle of the night, then you might want to return them to old Davy's Locker. Aargh!:skullflag:

BVI you have finally found the gold :hello2: but I was expecting gold coins from the 1700's/1800's :laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

I love seeing gold in my scoop! Nice teeth my man, remember the thread last summer of someone who found a "grill" ?

Chances are it hadn't been lost too long if it still had the polydent on them. Maybe you can find the owner - just look for the guy with the big gap in his mouth :laughing7:.
