Hello, first time poster here. My little boy brought this home from a creek in central ohio. It's made of stone and fits so perfectly in my hand, I though it might be a tool of some kind. I've searched around the site here and other places on line, but don't see anything similar. Any help greatly appreciated TIA!:notworthy:

Well I cant enlarge the pic to see closer. But it is just a guess and I would say a natural sand stone or iron ore concentration that is water worn. Welcome to the site and please post any other finds you might come across.

Welcome aboard!!

It is a piece of Concretion and a natural formation. Sorry, not an artifact.
