It's from Thailand
That's a Thai coin. That's the King on the obverse. Their unit of currency is the Baht. I remember this vaguely from the times I visited Thailand on cruises when I was in the Marine Corps. That's about all I can tell you....a lot of my brain cells got killed during those stops.

thanks sgtski ,i looked it up and found it to only be worth about $0.10 , so i will keep it with my other foregn coins.later
