Found in the Nevada desert

We found this while detecting out in Nevada. Not too sure what it is, certainly different from the rest of the rocks. Wondering if it is a earth bound, or from outer space. It is from outer space, might be worth a bit of change.

You can see the color change between the buried section and the exposed section.

Smelter slag. Pueblo, Colorado has tons of it.

It is not magnetic and my detector doesn't see it. Nothing out where it was found but high desert in all directions.
