It’s been quite cold here in SoCal, we’re already in the low 50’s :laughing7: so me and wife decided to go get some hot chocolate at the store. As soon as we got there I went straight to the coinstar machine and noticed quite a few coins there. I grabbed them quickly and took off to where the wife was so we can both see what we found. The first obvious and only good coin was the 40% Kennedy half. I have checked that machine at least 15 times before and found nothing so this was a big surprise. Thanks for looking and good luck out there.

congrats on the find, you never know

You need to check out that 1968 Canadian Dime.

1968
2.07 g 18.03 mm 99.9% nickel (172.5M)
2.33 g 18.034 mm 50% silver, 50% copper (70.4M)

Yours definitely looks silver to me, but what do I know?

It’s a machine people used to get rid of their change. It has a reject tray and most people who use it don’t check it and that’s where we come in :laughing7:

It is school money, is it something special. I have gotten some before and threw them away :dontknow:

That is quite a haul from the coinstar,
