Found My 1st ever Platinum

My wife and me took a 6 day trip to Myrtle beach. It was 800 or so miles each way from Buffalo NY. It was a good time. I got to hunt 4 days,2hrs each morning. It was in the 90,s and 2 hrs was enough. I only found about a buck in change each day. On day 3, I had just started, when a guy asked me to look for his daughter,s wedding set. He knew where she lost them. I said I,d try. He watched for a min. and said he had to get back to pack for home. He gave me his name and the condo he was staying at. He tryed to hand me $20.00 for trying but I would not take it. After he left I got a low tone [as low as a bottle cap.] I got the wedding band. It was Plat. and had a row of small diamonds. Then I looked down and saw that my foot was standing on the fat tire track of the beach sweeper. I swore, but on the next sweep I hit the Engagement ring, Plat. 1quater to a half kt. center stone and 4- 20 point side stones. I had enough to pay for the trip,a new EXcal 1000, about $500 in change. Yeah baby. But thats not me. The guy gave me $50.00. I was happy and so was he. Mike.

Rocky, I didn,t have my camara with me. The guy was in a hurry to leave for home. All I can tell you is I,ve been at this for 28 years and I have found hundreds of gold rings. These were my 1st Plat. ever and the most $$$$$ things I have found to date. Mike.
