Earlier this afternoon, a buddy of mine on another forum messaged me, and attached a couple pics of a massive diamond ring and emerald ring that he located for a woman. After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I messaged back and suggested he post the pics on T’net, as I’ve been seeing a lot of incredible bling lately, from Blak Bart, Casper-2, OBN, and others. But he’s not a member of T’net, and is a quiet, “under the radar”, anonymous kind of guy. Since he couldn’t post, he gave me permission to post his pics & story, so here we go.

NOTE: These aren’t my finds, my buddy found these, but I have his permission to post these.

He was asked to recover 2 rings for an elderly woman. She had been in the water at her local beach when a wave pulled these 2 rings off her fingers. He agreed to conduct a search and drove an hour to get to the beach where she lost her 2 rings. He started searching the area she reported losing the rings and was able to find both rings after searching for only about 10 minutes on the wet sand slope.

Emeralds: The first ring is gold with emeralds embedded around about ½ of the ring’s diameter.

Diamonds: The 2nd ring is massive, gold with 7 carats of Diamonds. The main stone is 3 carats, and is flanked on both sides by two diamonds, both 2 carats each.

Reward: I asked him if the lady gave him a reward for finding her 2 rings. He replied that he only asked for gas money to get back home. The elderly lady gave him an envelope and asked for his address. He didn’t open the envelope until he got home, but once home; he opened the envelope and inside was $800.00! Then, about 3 weeks later, he received a very nice letter from the elderly lady thanking him for driving up to find her rings.

So, 2 hours of driving + 10 minutes searching = $800.00 reward. Not too shabby for a couple hours of “work”, lol.
