Found my first Barber Quarter today...

Finally found a barber quarter, but its not in great shape. I think I see 18?? hundred. I also found an 1865 2 cent piece, a couple of war of 1812 LA1 buttons, and a lot of whatsits.

I think your looking at the 2 cent piece. The barber quarters were made from 1892-1916.

Nice finds but I have to ask. Was that Barber found in salt water ? I've never seen silver that looked that bad.

Agree That coin is really eaten up What kind of soil was it in? I didn't know silver could take such a beating Not picking on your finds, just I have never seen a coin in that state.
