Went back to a site in AZ that has produced a 19thC coin every time I've been there, with one exception. The last one was a 1898 nickel. Today I went back 30 more years! Also found part of a Parker-Stearns "Wizard" Liquid pistol water gun,
a W. Yerdon hose clamp marked "Pat. 1 (3) 1890,
an instrument reed,
a keyhole escutcheon,
a couple of pieces of native America pottery,
a trunk corner piece,
and the usual junk found in these old mining towns.
I didn't have to do much digging for the nickel!
