I don't post much, but happened to find my second two cent piece. Thought I would share it with you guys. I have only been able to find one other in the last 10 years, so I am a little excited about this one. Found in a local city park about five inches deep. Also dug up a 1917 merc, 1952 and 1956 Rosies.

That's a nice one Wheatback. You can read the "In God We Trust" in it's entirety and nice detail on the rest of it also. Way to go.

Wow that's so much better looking than the one I found last week. The one I found had more detail, in fact it was almost perfect, but there was green crap covering most of it.

It's currently soaking in olive oil. Hoping for the best!

Nice two center. Pretty good condition. You can see the "we" in the motto very well and that's a good indicator of the wear of the coin. I've found three in my hunting career... all were 1864.

That's a beauty wheatback. I found an 1868 and thought it was play money at first lol. It was 2" deep off the first base line of a baseball field.

One on my hit list. Several seateds, and a few large cents, but never a 2 cent. Been on my worst coin drought ever. Tons of flat buttons and a few scattered CW relics etc. but can't buy a good coin lately. Congrats on the 2 cent piece ......... great condition on that one.
