Found Near Old Tack

I was detecting in some nearby woods and came across some old iron horse tack and a pile of square nails. I also found this item (iron) that I would love to be able to identify. Given what was found nearby, I am guessing that it was from a wagon or cart, but I would really appreciate if anyone can help me out.

I think you might be right. I looked up some similar images of old carriage wrenches, and it makes sense given some of the iron horse tack I found nearby. Thanks for the help!

reminds me of a old threading tool, I found a picture of the tool I had in mind. DATED 1915 threading attachment tool

I like Nova's find. I was going to say that in the day of horse and buggy, nuts were square, so I don't think that could be a typical wrench.
