Found new area finding all kinds of history

Been working a area and have been digging up lots of square nails shovels axe heads picks and files but only one coin 1929s penny and lots of horse shoes. Cant find much info on the property but the poison oak is so bad caught it twice already. Found some good gold but the creeks are dry right now. the area was mined a lot at one time piles of rocks everywhere on both sides of the creeks the area is close to webber creek and the American river anyone know about this area.

Sounds like you stumbled onto some sort of old homestead site.

...sounds like a work station, an activity area where there was a wood shop or a smithy's area..., (Man Cave?)
