This is an area where Hippolyte Bouchard, or Hipólito Bouchard in the 1800’s. It’s heavy like a projectile. But it is magnetic. Could be a 37mm solid shot projectile, need to clean the rust off and remeasure it and look for a groove that would have held a brass driving band

And if it not solid?

I dont see a fuse (could be bottom fused though), yet I personally would not hammer the rust off this one.

I'd soak it in evaporust for a while that will take it to good metal. If it were an explosive round it would have a large plug in the base with two small holes in it, a solid shot will have one hole in the center of the base that was filled with tracer
