I got in about an hour and a half before the rain started. I found a very worn Trime that I'm probably never going to get a date, It's somewhere from a 1854 to a 1872. First one I ever found, I'm happy.
Enjoy the pix

Two coins from the 1800s... looks pretty good to me.

Well done sir.

I think that's what it's all about, for me anyway. Finding at least one example of every coin we ever made in the US.

WTG!

Oh! And about the date? Don't fret that, you DO know when it was made AND....now you have one!

Congrats on the trime! That one is still on my list. I'm with Whadi, you know what it is and now it's yours!

Well at least you can tell it is a trime? I have always wondered if you found one of the ones made out of nickel, if you would call it a trickle?

One coin I have never found myself. Very nice

Congrats on the trime and other finds. Those little trimes can be troublesome to locate

Congratulations Brad!!!!
Thanks Ken

I agree, I'm ok with no date, my next one will have a date on it. I'm just happy I found one finally, lol

I just found one of those 3 cent nickles, still trying to get together with the NGC guy to check it out. Thanks

Thanks

I thought I had a Real, it was in a dirt clod with just the edge showing, when I got it out and seen the size of it I figured it was a trime (I was with a few other people when they found trimes)

Awesome. Huge congratulations
Thank you

Love the trime. I thought my only two were worn until I saw yours:icon_thumleft:

Killer buddy! That's one more than I have

Wow, In my dreams!

Ugh oh, Mr Bradley got a trime! I believe you commented that you'd never found one when I sent you a pic of mine. Rock on buddy! Excellent

Congrats on the Trime! Just crossed that one off my list myself this summer. Now you know what a great feeling it is to see that little Roman numeral III emerge from the dirt! Plus that IHC is keeping it good company. :icon_thumright:

That sucker has been shoved across a counter under a finger a time or two I'd say! Lol
Wtg on your first, I'm sure it won't be your last

Congrats! I am sure you were so stoked when you popped it out of the plug! Love that feeling!!!

Great save!! Congrats on your "first"...........that suggests that there will be a "second".........don't leave us out of the loop when you do!!
