I found my second Barber quarter ( 1894 ) , a 1902 Barber dime ( In packed Gravel and I hit it with my digger $%&% ), 1943 Merc., 1946 Rosey and a 1959 washington quarter along with a fake gold bracelet, 6 wheats a 1941 nickel a Russian Coin, 4 canadian pennies, some clad and odd's and ends and a cool Snake ring. I found these finds over a couple hunts last week and just hadn't got around to posting them. Slowly but surely adding to that 2008 silver count.

WOW ~ very nice finds! That's a good amount of silver coins for a day of detecting! WOOHOO!!!

Very good job

That's a lot of silver! Congrats. That Merc looks to be in pretty good shape.

that snake ring is pretty cool. in old england the snake was considered a mark of true love. it was also used by sailors wives to warn the prostitutes to leave their husbands alone or else. most of those are 20ct gold and up with or without eye stones.
