Found silver at my large cent property!

I made it back to the area that I have been pulling large cents from I hit it for an hour and a half and first interesting find was this button with shank intact, Unfortunatly I do not know much about buttons but here it is. The second find was a ring. It has a hallmark and says sterling is there a chance it is A diamond ring? I am hoping it is old (most stuff from this site is from eighteen hundreds but I have found a couple of wheats and silver mercs.No large cents today but Overall a fun day!!

That is a civil war infantry button you have there. I would take that over just about any large cent

That is a beautiful silver ring, but likely not a real diamond in it. But it couldn't hurt to have a jeweler check it out.

It was originally but it wore off quickly sometimes there are still traces

Nice looking ring, but I like that Civil War Infantry button best. I could dig those any day of the week and not get tired of seeing them.
