Found small unknown type coin.

Hello,A couple of years ago while metal detecting, I found a small coin.It is a little smaller then a dime and has a head of a person turned as if he was looking at something but not staraight to the left or right or striaght at you.It has edge just like a coin and is the color of a dime.I've gone to many coin shows and never seen one like this.Does anyone know?
